Cockatiels are social birds and need daily interaction. Provide a spacious cage with perches, toys, and a cuttlebone for calcium. Feed a balanced diet of pellets, seeds, fruits, and vegetables. Fresh water should be available at all times. Keep the cage clean and avoid exposure to drafts, smoke, and fumes. Provide 10-12 hours of sleep in a dark, quiet room. Take your bird for regular check-ups and provide a stimulating environment to prevent boredom.
